This time of the year we'd like to share kindness and joy by helping ones in need and, particularly, children of Latvian Foster Family Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija's Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages in Latvia.

The true spirit of Christmas is a spirit of giving. AmCham kicked off the holiday season with its Annual Christmas party and charity raffle. This year together we have raised EUR 1500 for our principal charities: Latvian Foster Family Association, RMHC Latvija's Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages in Latvia. As a result many children in Latvia will be able to receive free healthcare services and a family-based support.

Nordea has developed a special training program in cooperation with "Lejasstrazdi" and the DCH Studio encouraging everybody to remain healthy throughout holidays.

Radisson Blu hotels all over the world, Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel is actively supporting and participating in various charity activities throughout the year - cooking for soup kitchen, donating to the Red Cross, participating in The Big Cleanup, Earth Hour and other activities.

Since 2011 well over 20,000 Latvian children have received free medical care near their homes across Latvia from the Care Mobile team. The Care Mobile team is accepting donations. If you have glasses with frames intact which you no longer need, they are ready to collect them.

P-D Valmiera Glass USA Corp. has received the State of Georgia award Deal of the Year 2016 for the expansion project of P-D Valmiera Glass USA Corp. worth USD 90 million that created 425 new jobs.

SEB provided support to various organizations Vītolu Foundation, Association Livslust, SOS Villages Children`s Villages as well as participated in 3 Blood Donation days.

Nordea Business School "From Idea to Investor" opened its new training season for the seventh year now. Over 50 authors of the most viable business ideas and most motivated new entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to obtain valuable knowledge.

Accenture has already recruited the 1000th employee in Latvia at end of 2016, but by August 2017 the company plans to recruit more than 200 new employees.
