EUR 3320 raised in 2017 for principal charities
The true spirit of Christmas is a spirit of giving. AmCham kicked off the holiday season with its Thanksgiving Dinner with charity raffle and silent auction. This year together we have raised EUR 3320 for our principal charities: Latvian Foster Family Association, RMHC Latvija's Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages in Latvia. As a result many children in Latvia will be able to receive free healthcare services and a family-based support.

Giving thanks, honoring inspirational people & raising for charities
During the Thanksgiving Dinner inspirational people and winners of the Human Development Award 2017 were announced: association "Integration for Society", Vita Kalina, Head of psychology Center LINA, association "For Latvian Children with Disabilities" and Swedbank Latvia. EUR 2620 were raised for Foster Families, Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages.

McHappy Day collects 40 000 EUR for Care Mobile
This year McDonald's charity campaign "McHappy Days" was a great success and collected 40 000 EUR to support the RMHC Latvia's Care Mobile. It will help to provide free medical consultations to 1600 children all around Latvia.
