For the 5th consecutive year, companies were invited to evaluate their sustainability performance in the Sustainability Index. We are proud of our members' achievements: the Gold level was attained by Cemex, Olympic Casino Latvia and SEB Bank. Coca-Cola HBC Latvia, GlaxoSmithKline, Nordea Bank AB Latvia branch, PwC Latvia and RISEBA reached the Silver.

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Latvia has issued its first local CSR Report covering their business activities and their impact on people, the environment and the community. The report includes their approach to Corporate Responsibility and the actions they have taken to advance responsible and community- oriented practices in their business.

Nordea Bank's Latvia branch has published its second consecutive CSR Report summarizing activities and reponsible business practices conducted over the course of the last year. For Nordea business results and CSR are of equal importance in the efforts to achieve their vision of putting customers first.

This year the RMHC Latvija's Care Mobile team has served 2412 children and more than 8000 children since the launch of their services.

SOS Childrens' Villages in Latvia have completed several projects and activities this year. The children planted 6800 trees, participated in the Big Clean Up, attended family camp, took part in a mentorship program, received high quality eye treatment and much more.

Our members Hamid Ladjevardi, RMHC Latvija, SOS Children Villages and other partner organizations have formulated a common statement calling the government to consider de-institutionalizing child care.

Over LVL 1500 were raised in the charity raffle of AmCham`s Anniversary Dinner in benefit of Care Mobile and SOS Children’s Villages Latvia. It could not be possible without support of airBaltic, Amway, Coca-Cola Hellenic Latvia, Diatom Art, Dome Hotel & Spa, Everita Romule, Grand Palace Hotel, Hotel Bergs, Microsoft Latvija, Riga Plaza, Senas Pasaules Mebeles, Skrivanek Baltic and the Taipei Mission.

LAWIN has been among the financial sponsors of the Diena Culture Awards for many years and this year was no exception. The law firm feels an affinity with this event by supporting the cultural life of Latvia.

By providing interpreting services Skrivanek Baltic supported the Latvian Personnel Management Association's forum, The Power of Four and the international World Press Photo contest exhibition in Riga.

Nordea Money School allows both Nordea's customers and society overall to get advices for smart financial management. More than 250 people have attended the lectures provided by a special team of finance coaches.
