Newsletter
October 2023
|
|
|
Welcome to our monthly newsletter. This past month we held several networking events with an opportunity to mingle in an informal setting. Music enthusiasts enjoyed the second American Music Night with the best hits of Elvis Presley and the premiere of Verdi's opera "Don Carlos".
We held our traditional autumn Chili Cook-Off to determine who makes the best chili in town, and the winner is the Kukaiņu team!
This year's workshop on value-based procurement coincided with the launch of the RESAH Guidelines in Latvia. At the very end of the month, a group of members had the chance to share their feedback on AmCham activities at the Member Focus Lunch hosted by Roche Latvija.
We warmly welcome three new members who have joined the AmCham community in the past month: Codnity, H2YO Europe and Ness Latvia! We look forward to connecting with them and learning more about these and other new members at our Meet AmCham event next week on November 7th. Everyone is welcome!
Tomorrow we will be co-hosting a Human Capital conference together with the Saeima highlighting the importance of human capital development in furthering economic growth. The conference will be live-streamed. Tune in to watch at www.saeima.lv!
We hope to see you at one of our next events!
