Newsletter, October 2024

Welcome to our monthly newsletter. This month we were honored to host a luncheon with the Prime Minister of Latvia to discuss her government's economic priorities and most pressing issues of the business community.

With less than 5 days until the pivotal US Presidential and Congressional election, we had a unique opportunity to hear insights of the White House Correspondent Jon Decker about the outlook and implications for the global economy and international order. The discussion touched upon essential topics for our region, including the potential impact on Baltic security.

This month AmCham released two positions highlighting the potential of advanced technologies - AI and Precision Medicine - in furthering economic growth and driving investment. We also launched a work group to support the Empower Her initiative promoting women's empowerment in business and the workplace. We are now looking for your ideas and input. Let us know if you would like to become involved!

We hope to see you at the Meet AmCham event on November 13! This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow members and get our latest updates.
