The healthcare work group meeting came together after the summer break to disucss latest updates and next steps for healthcare initiatives and projects on September 3rd via MS Teams. The work group members had an opportunity to learn more on Genomics Data Network and ways companies can connect to GDN from John Tully, Chairman of the Board of MikroTik/AmCham Latvia, Board Member and on secondary use of health data from Agris Bitāns, Partner of Eversheds Sutherland Bitans. The group also looked back on the Design Thinking Workshop on improvement of the Oncology data registry that was held on August 26 and latest update on the Conference on Health Data that is scheduled for November 26, 2020. The work group also discussed the FICIL position on healthcare that will be released on September 10, 2020 within FICIL High Council.
