We had an excellent webinar on a very topical theme - how to be productive working from home with inspiring speakers: Kristīne Mennika, Citadele Bank; Renate Strazdina, Microsoft Baltics and Janis Paksis, Accenture Latvia who shared their habits and daily routines while working from home.
Watch the entire webinar below:
This webinar explored how to stay productive while working outside the corporate environment and empower your team to connect and cooperate even while working separately. Our panel of business leaders and experts took questions and shared some useful tips about how to make distance work and get things done under these intense conditions.
Kristine Mennika, Head of Corporate Communications at Citadele Bank shared her top three tips on how to manage work from home with family: 1. Planning is "a king": have your own and family calendar with meetings, tasks, exams, music lessons, family activities etc., 2. Smart use of personal resources: make a priority list to avoid micromanagement; stick to KPI's; the best time to learn to say "NO", 3. Think of yourself: ask for help to friends and doctors; take care of your physical and mental health; charge your batteries and find 1:1 for spouse/partner.
Renate Strazdina, Country Manager of Microsoft Baltics suggested to find a personal routine. She told that it is imporant to set up your workspace, communicate with colleagues, maintain healthy boundaries, embrace online meetings, bring your team together, be mindful and inclusive, make up for missing hallway talk and record your meetings.
Janis Paksis, Program, Projects Portfolio Lead at Accenture Latvia explained that an individual productivity is as important as each team's productivity and extra metrics should be introduced for KPI's. He emphasized that the team needs to cooperate even more than it was before this COVID-19 crisis to get the work done and customers happy.
