On November 12, over sixty AmCham members gathered at AC Hotel by Marriott Riga for our annual Meet AmCham event. The event, which was both an introduction of our newest members and networking opportunity, was a success. The evening began with opening remarks from AmCham President Ingrīda Kariņa-Bērziņa and progressed to an informative presentation addressing AmCham's objectives.

Next, each new member was invited to present themselves underlining the key features of their organization, their individual roles in the latter and their ambitions as members of AmCham. The presentations highlighted the diversity of thought and experiences brought to the Chamber by its members. The 2019/2020 new members of AmCham who presented themselves at the event include: Corporate Contributing Member Roche Latvija; Corporate Members AC Hotel by Marriott Riga, Atlas Dynamics, Bite Latvija, IIZI Brokers, Nordtext, Manpower; Small Business Members RDSA Studio and Your Move, Non-Profit Members Bezvests.lv and Riga Graduate School of Law.

 

Existing member Leinonen had their promotional stand and RISEBA University of Business, Arts and Technology had both a promotional stand and a marketing pitch during the event. 

Following new member presentations, members had an opportunity to network and got to know each other's field of business. 

After the networking activity the door prize drawing took place. The winner of this drawing received a gift card from AC Hotel by Marriott Riga.

There was a lot of new insights and fun. We look forward to expanding our network even further!
