Around 40 members joined the Business After Hours hosted by Bite Latvija to find out more about the transition to 5G technology at their premises Uriekstes 2A. The program included a very timely presentation on mobile technology development and an interactive exhibition on technology evolution from 1G to 5G. In addition, members had an opportunity to enjoy the office tour.
In June 2019, the first 5G station was installed, which is currently operating in test mode. Full 5G coverage will also be a reality in Latvia already in 2023. In 2024, 5G will be available to 40% of the world's inhabitants.
