AmCham held the sixth seminar in "Gateway to the USA" program in cooperation with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and Avitus Group.

A variety of international and local experts shared practical tips for a successful U.S. entry. The event included presentations on business travel options, business opportunities in the states of Kentucky and Iowa, as well as trademark protection when doing business in the United States. In addition, a promising Latvian start-up, AERONES, shared its experience about the entry in the U.S. market.
Joining the event were the following presenters: Dr. Frank Levene from Avitus Group, Morgan Pierstorff from the European Representative Office of Kentucky, Anke Goebel de Méndez from Iowa European Office, James Snoddy, Vice Consul of the U.S. in Latvia, Ingrida Karina-Berzina, Partner at COBALT and Dainis Kruze, Co-Founder of AERONES.
This seminar was aimed at assisting Latvian exporters to the U.S. and all business leaders who are exploring an investment and trade presence in the U.S. to gain knowledge and exchange contacts.
Gateway to the USA is a joint program of AmCham, LCCI and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at developing connections between businesses in Latvia and business representatives in the U.S.
