Yesterday AmCham members were invited to visit one of our newest members - Art Nouveau Riga – a small store in the exclusive Art Nouveau district of Riga offering Art Nouveau themed products, the majority of which are made by Latvian artists and craftsmen.

Many of the members vistied the store for the first time where everyone could find something for heart and soul – nice decors, exquisite lamps and works of art or to find a gift for a good friend. We were surprised and inspired by this beautiful store.

 

Thank you Art Nouveau Riga for the wonderful tour at the Art Nouveau Museum and a chance to learn a lot about the Art Nouveau style. For many it was the first visit of the museum. The museum tour was interactive, and we had an opportunity to try on the Art Nouveau-style heats and taste gingerbread cookies baked in the oven of the museum.

The New year has started with an exciting event which will be followed by many other networking events. We are grateful to Nils Students, Līga Eglīte and their team for a wonderful event celebrating Art Nouveau.
