I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.

Members of the American, Danish, Finnish and German Chambers of Commerce had an opportunity to visit DNB Bank and meet its new CEO Asmund Skar. Delicious food, excellent wine and great networking – even if someone came first time they had plenty of opportunities to connect with the members of other Chambers and customers of DNB. In addition, DNB offered an insightful presentation on the Euro.
According to Asmund Skar, the capital markets are very developed and the business environment in Latvia differs from the one in Norway. He praised his team and compared it to the new and promising generation with a service minded attitude towards a customer. He said: "We are pleased of the fact that the number of our customers grows continuously. We are really satisfied that our customers have noticed our continuous efforts to create value for them, thus contributing to the long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.”I would highly recommend membership to other professionals looking to expand their business connections.
