Setting the stage for the next two decades

Feb 01, 2013 - Feb 02, 2013
The Board spent two memorable days at the Rumene Manor devoting ample time to discuss where AmCham is headed as we mark its 20-year milestone.

The Board and staff convene annually for a focused, strategic meeting to set future direction and review the Chamber’s performance. Being away from day-to-day duties allows spending more time in conducting assessment of how we have accomplished the goals and objectives set in the beginning of each year.

Several in-depth sessions were held with a focus on programming, membership, advocacy and succession. The Board established goals and key agenda items for the coming year, and decided to continue to focus on fostering trade and nurturing friendship between Latvia and the US, building a better business and investment climate and serving as a business, knowledge and networking forum for its members and partners. Looking ahead, the goals and actions will be grounded in core values of integrity, responsibility, cooperation and excellence.

AmCham has a reason to celebrate. Since those early days of 1993, it has grown into a truly professional business organization, representing over 130 leading international and local companies. AmCham strives for the goal of being a hub of networking and thought leadership for the international business community in Latvia.
