The Riga Toastmasters Club is the place to challenge yourself and build skills necessary in today’s dynamic working environment. And they promise: you will be having a good time, and make friends along the way.

During the Business After Hours hosted by Riga Toastmasters, AmCham members learned how to give a proper toast and got the grasp that public speaking can be fun. The guests proposed topics for impromptu speeches called Table Topics and were brave enough to volunteer to take the floor and deliver short speeches on the given topics.

Toastmasters share the same goals – improving interpersonal relations by developing communication, public speaking and leadership skills in a positive learning environment.

The Riga Toastmasters Club meetings are held in English every first, third and fifth Wednesday of the month at the Microsoft offices. Everyone is welcome to take part in up to three meetings free of charge.
