AmCham held an insightful discussion with one of the most successful Latvian entrepreneurs - Lauris Liberts, Founder and Co-Owner of Draugiem Group - to hear his views on accessing the U.S. market and the success of his business ventures. Lauris discussed the roots of Draugiem group, as well as Printful, the first unicorn company to come from Latvia. Along with the discussion of his business ventures, Lauris explained what drives him in creating businesses, where he sees opportunities for growth, and what he is next up to. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions. The conversation was skilfully moderated by Pauls Miklasevics, AmCham Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Blu Or Bank.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Lauris Liberts is one of the best-known and most successful entrepreneurs in the Latvian IT industry and the founder of the social media platform draugiem.lv. In 2004 he created Draugiem Group - the mother company of Printful and in 2013 the idea of Printful was born. He has earned a bachelors degree in economics from the University of Latvia and a master’s degree in e-business and innovation from the University of Lancaster in Great Britain.
