On June 7 and 8, AmCham Latvia had the opportunity to take part in the 3rd Annual Pan-Baltic Member Meeting of AmChams together with neighboring American Chambers in Lithuania and Estonia in Vilnius, Lithuania. Members from all three Baltic countries were able to learn about various current business matters while also being able to network with one another and with executives of various companies.

The 2-day program included two conference sessions on the most relevant topics: the Rail Baltica project, presented by Arenijus Jackus, Member of the Rail Baltica Supervisory Board, Director of Rail Baltica Coordination Department in "Lietuvos geležinkeliai”, and insights into blockchain technology, presented by Saulius Malinauskas and Marijus Kasperavičius of Nasdaq Vilnius. AmCham members also had the opportunity to tour EKSPLA to learn how cutting-edge lasers are manufactured, visit the Arginta Engineering UAB metal processing workshop, and attend a campus tour at Thermo Fisher Scientifics Baltics. The schedule was topped off with a business breakfast discussing cryptocurrency with renowned Lithuanian entrepreneur Ilja Laurs (Nextury Ventures, GetJar), and an evening reception hosted by the U.S. Ambassador in Lithuania.
