In its first year, the Women for IT – Promoting Women’s Involvement in Digital Jobs and the IT Industry award went to Accenture for its SheGoesTech training program. The winners of the 15th edition of the Platinum Mouse awards received their prizes during the annual conference of the Latvian Information and Communications Technology Association (LIKTA).
Accenture won the Women for IT – Promoting Women’s Participation in Digital Jobs and the IT Industry category for its SheGoesTech training program. This is the first time that the Mouse was awarded in this category.
The Platinum Mouse award has been presented since 2007 with the aim of highlighting the most successful digital solutions created in Latvia, which are beneficial for the public, business, government and education, as well as rewarding the most outstanding promoters of digital skills and literacy in Latvia and the strongest projects, thus promoting the success of solutions created in Latvia and raising awareness of the importance of digital development for the growth of Latvian society and the economy.
