AmCham achievements in 2021

Dec 17, 2021

This past year has been one more challenging year for us all. In spite of everything, we have so much to be thankful for. We thank our Board members, working group representatives, partners, speakers and, most importantly, you, our members.

Thanks to your continued support, in 2021 AmCham has held 48+ events with 100+ speakers with over 3500+ participants. We released 2 position papers on digital upskilling and sustainable investments in healthcare. We also raised such policy topics as new the compliance culture in banking, lobbying regulation and the provision of the EU and state recovery funds. Together with our partners we co-hosted the Latvian-American Innovation Award and Health Data Summit Riga. We welcomed 15 members to our community. We have 4 active working groups and a strong business voice.

It has been a privilege to work with all of you and we look forward to continuing our partnership in 2022!

Our Christmas Charity raffle has become a tradition and this year we raised €2600 benefiting its principal charities: Bezvests.lvLatvian Foster Family AssociationPink Train FoundationRMHC Latvija and SOS Children’s Villages. As a result of members' donations the charities will be able to promote healthy development of Latvia's children and their rights to grow up in a family environment as well as support women who are affected by breast cancer and families of missing people. Let's continue to support them throughout 2022!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!
