On January 17th, John L. Carwile, U.S. Ambassador to Latvia, held a farewell breakfast for the AmCham board and Corporate Contributing members, who expressed great appreciation for his partnership over the past three years, and wished Mr. Carwile all the best in his future endeavors.
Ambassador Carwile welcomed the board and other members of AmCham Latvia by expressing the Embassy’s gratitude for their contributions to the economic relationship between the United States and Latvia. AmCham Latvia members presented the Ambassador with a certificate of Lifelong Honorary Membership.
The Ambassador emphasized: “AmCham continues to play an important role in our bilateral relationship, including by promoting trade and investment. I greatly appreciate the AmCham board’s leadership and support to the Embassy. AmCham companies represent the best of American and Latvian innovation and entrepreneurship.”
