AmCham takes part in TTIP Conference in Stockholm

On Monday, December 15, stakeholders from Nordics and Baltics took part in the TTIP Conference in Stockholm, organized by the U.S. State Department in cooperation with the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. This conference brought together various opinion makers and thought leaders from Nordics, Baltics and Poland to identify and address narratives surrounding TTIP. The event featured sessions on SMEs, consumer protection, labor issues as well as protecting and promoting investment.

Keynote addresses were presented by U.S. Chief Negotiator Dan Mullaney and EU Chief Negotiator Ignacio Garcia Bercero.

Latvia was represented in the conference by 6 delegates including AmCham Executive Director Liga Smildzina-Bertulsone.
