Thanks to AmCham members and supporters who are true believers and active promoters of CSR policy in Latvia, several projects and activities have been carried out for the children from SOS Childrens' Villages in Latvia during the last four months.

Microsoft Latvia invited children from SOS Children's Village in Valmiera to take part in their sports day which was an unforgettable day full with activities, joy and positive experience.

AON Latvia employees in their Global Service Day renovated children's playground and did landscaping works for SOS Children's Village in Islice as well as spent time playing games and communicating with the children from Islice. To find out more click here.

CBRE made a valuable gift to the children from SOS Children's Village in Islice - possibility to reestablish sandplay therapy consulting room which will be used for many years and will help the children to overcome former traumas and to better integrate into the society.

Radisson Blu Elizabete in cooperation with "Rīgas Taksometru Parks" provided a transport for the children who participated in the grieving camp organized by SOS Children's Villages. This camp was organized for children from all over Latvia, who have lost their loved ones during last two years, to overcome grief.

SEB bank via its communication channels supported SOS Children's Village spring/summer campaign "Because he has YOU!" and provided an opportunity for their customers to become a regular contributors and members of SOS Friend's Club. Thanks to this initiative SOS Friend's Club is getting bigger! To find out more about the campaign "Because he has YOU!".

SOS Childrens' Villages in Latvia is a non-governmental organization that provides a long-term family based care for children without parental care. It also carries out family strengthening programs, helping high risk and financially struggling families to improve their situation, so that children at risk could stay in the caring environment of their own biological families. There are in total 550 children in SOS Children's Villages care.
