McHappy Day is an annual McDonald's charity event, during which customers can support the Care Mobile. Over the past years Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija (Care Mobile) has received 245 983 euros to support the efforts of the Care Mobile which in turn has provided free healthcare services to more than 15 000 children. This year EUR 21,877 were raised with 875 free medical exams for children of the Care Mobile program.

By tradition in November, the leading restaurant chain McDonald's was celebrating McHappy Day - a nationwide fundraising event where EUR 1 was donated to children's healthcare per every picture of a resident of Latvia bearing the symbol of the campaign, a smiling mask. 

During the whole year, McDonald's also donates 2 Euro cents from each Happy Meal to Care Mobile. The final event of McHappy Day was held on November 28th.
