Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija (RMHC) has issued the first Newsletter to inform about the latest news, activities and upcoming events.

In 2013 the Care Mobile provided 4,253 free medical exams to Latvian children. Over time, they have found that there are three clinical services that are consistently the most requested:

Eye doctor: 1,446 free exams
Allergy/asthma: 979 free exams
Neurology: 753 free exams

Most of their small patients were newborns till 5 years old. Under the Care Mobile program, more than 10,000 free medical exams have been provided over the past 3 years, and children from rural areas have been the main beneficiaries.

They are proud that the official medical partner of the Care Mobile in Latvia is the State Children's Hospital (Bērnu klīniskā universitātes slimnīca). The Care Mobile's medical team includes some of the best specialists in their fields, including: Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Ear/Nose/Throat, and Dermatology.

Their target for 2014 is to reach 4,300 exams.
