About the Latvian Education Accelerator:
The Latvian Education Accelerator is a project initiated by the World Economic Forum, similar to which are being implemented all around the world. The Accelerator's work in Latvia is coordinated by ERDA and the strategic vision is determined by 4 Co-Chairs – Minister of Education and Science Anda Čakša, Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, Chairman of the Board of Swedbank Latvia Lauris Mencis and Managing Director of Accenture Baltics Maksims Jegorovs.
The aim is to promote close cooperation between the public and private sectors in solving education system challenges. During its three-year operation, it is planned to implement at least five activities, involving more than 50 organizations. The Accelerator's focus areas are career education and planning and STEM skills, and its target audience is high school-age youth.
AmCham and PwC share the same values and targets to achieve socially.
