Latvian Education Accelerator shares first-year results and progress at today’s event

Jan 17

This morning, the Latvian Education Accelerator held a presentation to share its first-year results. The event highlighted the progress of activities and the initial outcomes of this important project.

The Latvian Education Accelerator, launched last year, is part of a global initiative by the World Economic Forum. Coordinated by ERDA, its strategic direction is guided by Co-Chairs: Minister of Education and Science Anda Čakša, Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, Swedbank Latvia Chairman Lauris Mencis, and Accenture Baltics Managing Director Maksims Jegorovs.

The aim of the Accelerator is to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors to address challenges in the education system. Over the next three years, the initiative will implement at least five key activities, focusing on career education, planning, and STEM skills, primarily targeting high school-aged youth.
