We are delighted to welcome Liga Upeslace-Kukaine as a new AmCham member. Liga holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (2017), as well as a Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science, from the University of Guelph, Canada.
 
Liga is currently a Property Valuation Analyst at NEWSEC, a real estate advisory company with over 2,700 professionals in seven countries across the Nordics and Baltics ( www.newsec.lv ). Liga has advised large international companies active in Latvia, and has drafted monthly market overviews for same.
 
Before starting a family, Liga worked at GROGLASS in Riga, Latvia, as a Project Manager.
 
Liga has been the President of the International Women's Club in Riga, and is still an active member of same.  Liga also has been the President of the Canadian Latvian Youth Association. Līga is fluent in English, Latvian and French.
