Making reading fun

Oct 09, 2013
McDonalds offers Interactive Digital Books for children. It is a unique, safe and completely free digital world created by McDonald's designed to engage and entertain kids and their families. The more access kids have to good books, the brighter and happier they are. McDonald's wants to help make reading fun with Interactive Digital Books covering all sorts of subjects. Happy studio library offers four digital books: Get Creative, The Smurfs Movie Storybook, Wonders of Nature and World's Greatest Cities. McDonalds books include features such as puzzles, animations, reveals, quizzes, picture zooms, picture viewer, sounds and music - all designed to appeal to children.

Children can also create their own books on Happy Studio using text, images, animated objects and swappable backgrounds. Once completed, they can share their books with their parents, save them on the site to play with at a later date or even print them off the keep. To access digital books children can register and parents approve their registration on the website: www.HappyStudio.com.

This digital book project is McDonald's initiative that is being implemented across Europe in cooperation with the publishing house "Dorling Kindersley"(DK), offering books in all European languages, including Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian languages.
