On December 2 during the Annual Christmas reception, AmCham awarded the most active members of this year: Medtronic, Riga Stradins University and Skaal.
The Member of the Year Award recognizes those members who have gone above and beyond in helping build a better business environment in Latvia and facilitating the Chamber's mission to foster U.S.-Latvia business ties and help make our organization stronger and better connected.
Edgars Labsvirs, Health Policy and Market Access Manager at Medtronic: „Being active in AmCham Latvia is one of the best ways to contribute to our health care development at the system level and towards a stronger society in general. It’s a critical part of our mission in Medtronic: alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.”
Agrita Kiopa, Vice Rector of Riga Stradins University: “We joined AmCham Latvia to promote the issues of our interest – adequate health financing, secondary use of health data, healthcare digitalization, and personalized medicine, along with other healthcare organizations.”
Paul Seitz, Chief Executive Officer of Skaal: “Awards are always a pleasant surprise. The team at Skaal is very appreciative of this recognition and looks forward to continuing to support the goals and objectives of AmCham. Thank you.”
AmCham works hard to accomplish its goals and is a voice in the business community that is heard.
