New brand, website, mobile app

Feb 22, 2013

In honor of its 20th anniversary, AmCham Latvia announces the launch of a refreshed brand and communications.

The website overhaul will enhance the visitor experience with strong visual content and easier navigation. The new website features a new visual design and layout, which makes posting events, sharing news, managing membership database much faster and easier for online visitors.  As a result the website has become more accessible, user-friendly and interactive.

In addition, AmCham introduces a new logo, designed to reflect its core values: integrity, responsibility, cooperation and excellence.

"We are excited about our new website. For almost a year we have been implementing a communication strategy to engage with our audience more and help our members and other stakeholders get to know us better," says Liga Smildzina-Bertulsone, AmCham’s Executive Director.

"We see it as the next step in our commitment to being a hub of thought leadership for our members and the international business community. While keeping our identity, the refreshed brand reflects our evolution in the communication with all stakeholders – members, media and the public at large," Liga tells.

Along with the launch of a refreshed website, 77Agency has created a mobile application for AmCham. The application will allow users to get the latest news from the website, interact with the twitter account and synchronize upcoming events with the phone’s agenda.

Head of QA & Development of 77Agency Carlo Becchi says: "77Agency is proud to be part of the development of a new online communication strategy for AmCham, which now includes a stronger mobile presence. The mobile applications we developed for AmCham will allow members and everybody interested in the US-Latvia relationships to stay in touch and interact with the Chamber easily, from any mobile device."

AmCham Executive Director stresses: "We are truly grateful to our member 77 Agency for their generous donation of effort and time in developing the applications for Android, iPhone and Windows platforms. We can’t wait to use the AmCham Mobile App."

The mobile application is now in the approval process which can take up to two weeks.

"For 77Agency, in Latvia with a cutting edge Research & Development office since 2004, this represents one of the broadest mobile launches to date: along with the iPhone and Android version, the AmCham Mobile application will witness the debut of our brand new Windows Phone 8 Development Team which is focused on the modern and promising mobile platform from Microsoft," concludes Carlo Becchi.
