This year PricewaterhouseCoopers celebrates its 20th anniversary in Latvia. In 1993, they started with less than ten staff members at Coopers&Lybrand SIA and PriceWaterhouse SIA. In 1998, the two firms merged to establish PricewaterhouseCoopers SIA. A staff of over 125 professionals are now generating nearly 5 million lats in annual revenues.
These 20 years have been significant not only for their business but for the firm's development. Over this time they have grown to realise that a business isn't all about revenue. The basis of a successful and stable business is people, being our staff and business partners, who have been around to build their firm to what it has become today.
They would like to mark this anniversary by not only delighting themselves but also by doing valuable deeds for the community. Throughout the year, they will be performing various activities to support the community and they will be taking part in events aimed at promoting an environmentally friendly and benevolent lifestyle. They have a long-standing friendship with the Latvian Orphan Children's Fund, the National Children Cardiology Centre, and the Ulubele animal shelter. They take an active part in the Big Cleanup promote an environmentally green lifestyle. They believe that together we can create more value by bringing joy and good feelings into the life of those who need it most.
