AmCham works hard to accomplish its goals and is a voice in the business community that is heard.

Following our top priorities related to improvement of the business climate and transparency in our country, the Chamber held a conference on the new Whistleblowers Law at the end of March together with Transparency International Latvia (DELNA) and five Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Latvia to raise awareness about the Whistleblower's protection law and its implications on businesses in Latvia.
The Whistleblowers Law, which took effect on May 1, 2019, requires companies employing over 50 people to introduce certain whistleblowing mechanisms.
The conference was attended by more than 70 members and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Latvia, airBaltic, Bite Latvija and Riga Business School.
Being part of AmCham community brings valuable networking opportunities in different business areas as well as informal connections within Business After Hours.
