airBaltic, Cognizant, RISEBA, SEB, Swedbank named among most responsible companies

Aug 12, 2022

For the 13th year, the Institute for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (InCSR) evaluated the sustainability index of more than 78 companies and organizations in Latvia. The objective of this index is to diagnose corporate sustainability and responsibility in order to praise and support companies that strengthen Latvian economy.

Based on references and data submitted, companies were awarded Dimond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze status. AmCham members SEB bank and Swedbank this year were awarded with Diamond status along with Latvenergo and Rimi.  Those four organizations are able not only to reach the highest peaks of sustainability, but also to inspire others, thus contributing to the sustainable development to both their organizations and the country.

AmCham members airBaltic and RISEBA were awarded with Gold status and Cognizant received the Silver. In total, 23 Platinum statuses were awarded, 20 Gold, 23 Silver, and 8 Bronze. Although many long-time participants managed to improve their performance, the overall performance of participants has remained at the previous year's level of 79.5%.

I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.
