We are thrilled to announce that during the meeting on October 2, the Digital health work group confirmed both candidates Agnese Jonate and Ieva Palma as the new co-chairs of the group.
Agnese Jonate is a Healthcare Solutions Lead in Novartis. With over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical business sector, she has gained a comprehensive understanding of the digital health transformation journey and the critical need to accelerate this process through collaborative efforts across healthcare, governance, and the digital industry. Ieva Palma is a Distribution Manager Baltics in Abbott. Ieva is a medical doctor by education, and is working in healthcare industry for more than 20 years. Through her extensive experience in different roles across Baltic and Nordic countries, she has been successful in implementation of different scale and scope of projects within complex market environments.
The group has been active over the past 4 years, and formalized as a separate work stream in 2021. Since 2022 the group has been co-led by AmCham and the Digital Health Association, represented by Kristaps Krafte. Among the main achievements of the work group have been the organization of two data summits (2020 and 2021) together with the Ministry of Health and NHS, driving the creation and adoption of the State Digital Health Strategy, maintaining regular dialogue with key stakeholders on behalf of the industry and various communication efforts with society-at-large.
Huge thanks for putting forward your candidacies and willingness to invest extra time and effort to continue the great work of the group!
The subgroup's next meeting is scheduled for October 31.
We re-affirm our commitment to the values that AmCham stands for and that we share.
