Over 70 members joined this year's annual Christmas Charity reception to kick-off the holiday season and raised €2720 to charities supporting the health and well-being of Latvia's children: Children’s Hospital Foundation, Latvian Foster Family Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities in Latvija and SOS Children's Villages. It was also a great opportunity to look back at the year and award Members of the Year - companies who have gone the extra mile in supporting AmCham over the course of last year: ATU Duty Free, Bite Latvija, RTU Riga Business School, Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Daugava and Radisson Blu Latvija Conference and Spa Hotel.

Guests were greeted by the delightful performance of students of the International School of Latvia, who filled the air with uplifting carols, spreading cheer and festive spirit all around. The U.S. Ambassador's holiday greetings set a warm and welcoming tone for the event. AmCham Vice Presidents Ieva Racenaja and Guntars Krols gave an overview of AmCham key highlights in 2024 and awarded the most active members. AmCham Executive Director Liga Smildzina-Bertulsone thanked all members for their continued support and, especially, the leaders of Advocacy work groups by giving their expertise, time and dedication to make a positive change in the business and investment environment of Latvia.
