On November 29 AmCham organized the second seminar on the U.S. Market in cooperation with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) at LCCI office. This time the program focused on the institutional cooperation in strengthening business ties with the U.S. as well as looked at some of the great examples of Latvian company exports to this important market.
Representatives from the Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, Embassy of the United States in Latvia and AmCham shared their views on the ways how to help Latvian businesses grow and expand to the U.S. market as well as the position of the new Premanent Economic Represenation of Latvia in the U.S. in this process. After the panel discussion two successful Latvian businesses - Sonarworks and Funderful- that already operate in the U.S. were presented to encourage others to follow their success.

The first seminar on the U.S. Market took place in March when AmCham together with LCCI launched a joint program "Gateway to the USA" with the aim to promote trade and investment between Latvia and the U.S. and to encourage Latvian companies to do business in the U.S. In addition, AmCham signed a cooperation agreement with LCCI in order to strengthen bilateral trade.
Being part of AmCham community brings valuable networking opportunities in different business areas as well as informal connections within Business After Hours.
