Start small, dream big

Feb 07, 2013
Entrepreneurship is sprouting up all around us. Recently, US Ambassador Pekala launched an entrepreneurial mentorship program Incubating Business Incubators between the business incubators in New Orleans and Latgale, encouraging young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. The Entrepreneurial mentorship program is supported by the US Embassy and Baltic-American Freedom Foundation.

Following a pitch panel the US Embassy hosted a reception for business incubators from Latgale and AmCham.

The US Ambassador introduced the initiative, aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Latgale region. Edmunds Sprudzs, Minister of Environmental Protection and Regional Development praised the unique opportunity for the local business incubators to connect with the start-up community in New Orleans.
