Our Friday's webinar was devoted on a very topical theme of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of employees at work and home. Ieva Slezina, Director, Medical Education Technology Center at Riga Stradins University shared a practical guide for employers ensuring the best protection for their staff. The event was moderated by Sandis Kondrats, CEO of Exonicus. There are some key considerations to prevent or reduce COVID-19 risks in workplace:

  • Make sure your workplaces are clean and hygienic
  • Open windows and doors whenever possible to make sure the workplace is well ventilated
  • Promote regular and thorough hand-washing by employees
  • Promote good respiratory hygiene in the workplace
  • Use remote working tools and prepare plan to prevent infection in case of face-to-face meeting or event
