I look forward to promoting stronger U.S.-Latvia ties and working with AmCham members to ensure Latvia is a trusted destination for international business.

On the 18th of February, our sister organization AmCham Estonia together with the EU Commission Representation in Estonia invited AmCham Latvia members to join an interactive forum with the top policy-makers and business experts, who addressed the topics of Responsible AI from many different angles. The event took place in ‘Euroopa maja', which interior went perfectly with the topic of the event.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has touched almost every side of our daily lives, our business operations, and society. Intelligence machines are influencing nearly every facet of our lives to help improve efficiencies and augment our human capabilities. AI is so intertwined in all that we do; it's hard to imagine living life without it. AI is a central tenet for the disruptive changes of the 4th Industrial Revolution; a revolution that will likely challenge our ideas about what it means to be a human and just might be more transformative than any other industrial revolution we have seen yet.
This event led to a really interesting discussion and gave insights from different perspectives. We are really happy that there was such a huge interest in this event!
Event was supported by the following partners: Microsoft, Majandus- ja Kommunikatsiooniministeerium and Eesti Kaubandus-Tööstuskoda, ITL.
