AmCham is a place to meet representatives of other industries and understand the business environment.
Signe Velina, Market Access Manager Latvia of Johnson & Johnson
On Saturday, September 10 around 50 AmCham members and their families went to Adazi for a tour of the Adazi Military Base. The tour was kindly hosted by Charlie Company, 3-69 Armor, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division. Charlie Company provided a tour of their company and battalion command posts, dining facility and equipment storage facility. There was also a capabilities brief for the M1A2 SEPv2 Main Battle Tank and M2A3 Infantry Fighting Vehicle as well as gun display at the end of the tour. Charlie Company is currently in Latvia as a part of Atlantic Resolve-North, serving as a Regionally Allocated Force to support a strong and resilient Europe.
The participants, both adults and kids, learned about the mission of the U.S. Army and Charlie Company in Latvia, the equippment they use and their everyday life in Latvia. We were also educated about technical details of the mission such as compatability of the U.S. Army forces with the Latvian Army and their equippment.
AmCham works hard to accomplish its goals and is a voice in the business community that is heard.
