During the Thanksgiving Dinner inspirational people and winners of the Human Development Award 2017 were announced: association "Integration for Society", Vita Kalina, Head of psychology Center LINA, association "For Latvian Children with Disabilities" and Swedbank Latvia. EUR 2615 were raised for Foster Families, Care Mobile and SOS Children's Villages.

On November 16 AmCham held its Working Lunch with Lauris Linabergs, Head of Division of the European Union and International Cooperation Matters at the Data State Inspectorate who presented the aims and values of the organization, its structure, and challenges they face with the implementation of the new regulation.
