Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvija (Care Mobile), who suspended its operations during the lockdown, is working at the full capacity again and has already made 67 visits and provided 2460 medical consultations. The team of dedicated doctors are determinated to continue visit all the regions of Latvia and provide medical consultations to those children who need it the most.

The Care Mobile in cooperation with Rimi Baltija is organizing a charity campaign in all Rimi Hypermarkets for the second year in a row. Everyone is welcomed to donate in all Rimi Hypermarkets at the cash registers where the donation boxes are located. The charity campaign will run until September 27th.

Thanks to generous donations the Care Mobile in collaboration with specialists from Children's Clinical University Hospital the program will continue to visit children, especially in rural areas, where they lack access of primary medical care due to various reasons also next year. The main mission of Care Mobile is to get doctors near children's homes to provide free medical consultations and improve health of children. In the most cases the services provided by the Care Mobile are very significant to discover various diseases in initial stage and to prevent more serious illnesses in the future. The team of Care Mobile consists of: allergists, ophthalmologists, neurologists, speech therapists, dermatologist, gastroenterologist, physiotherapist and endocrinologist.
