Community support is a very important aspect of AmCham`s CSR efforts. We are committed to serve and support the communities to which we belong, including the generous use of our time, expertise, financial and organizational resources. AmCham members and staff continue its commitment to CSR initiatives with a special focus on children and youth, education and health care.

Believing that children are our future, we support SOS Children's Villages Latvia, a social charity organization providing a permanent family-based care to the children.

Since its establishment in 1997 their organization has provided care and support to nearly thousand children and youngsters both in the long term care of the SOS Children Villages and Youth facilities, as well as by the Family Support Centers and has supported their successful integration in the society. Currently the organization is coordinating and supervising the work of all SOS facilities 2 SOS Children’s Villages (in Islice, Bauska district and in Valmiera), 1 SOS Youth Facility (in Jelgava), 3 Family Strengthening Projects and 5 Alternative Care Education Centers.

Let us all join and help children who have lost their biological parents to grow up by knowing that there are worth love and care.
