Microsoft announces Azure services for non-profits

As part of its Philanthropies division and its ‘Modern Non-profit’ campaign, Microsoft Azure cloud services are now available free of charge in amount of 5000 US dollars annually. Azure cloud platform is a set of services that include data storage, processing and analytics, a variety of applications and other IT tools. With Azure coming online for non-profits, Microsoft now offers the most comprehensive and industry-leading donations program that empower non-profit organizations to digitally transform their business and transform the world.

Microsoft Azure cloud computing provision for the NGO sector is the next step in Microsoft's target to donate software NGOs one billion US dollars over three years.

Microsoft has also released material "A Cloud for Global Good", which contains recommendations and suggestions for safe and efficient use of public cloud computing and non-governmental work.
