On 13 January 2015 the law firm Spigulis & Kukainis granted a scholarship of excellence to the Riga Graduate School of Law Foundation (RGSL) graduate student of the International and European Law Programme, Ms. Anastasija Uduta, for her excellent academic performance and contribution to the community. In 2014 Ms. Uduta graduated from the RGSL bachelor programme "Law and Business" with honors, and now continues her studies to obtain the lawyer qualification. The scholarship winner is also awarded with the opportunity to gain experience in the law firm Spigulis & Kukainis as a trainee. The Scholarship of Excellence awarded by Spigulis and Kukainis was established in the fall of 2014, and is the first scholarship award to current RGSL students by RGSL graduates. The purpose of the scholarship is to support financially talented and promising students, as well as to introduce soon-to-be lawyers with the daily routine of attorney life at one of the most dynamic law firms in Latvia.
