On May 13, more than 70 members of all three Baltic AmChams gathered for the 3rd Pan-Baltic webinar that was hosted in cooperation with Google Baltics on best practices of remote team management and deep dive into Google productivity tricks.

Our 7th webinar in Connect with AmCham series were joined by almost 30 members who got answers on questions related to legal aspects - idle time, annual vacations, redundancy and more from Toms Šulmanis, Partner and Head of Employment & Immigration practice group at COBALT Latvia. In addition, Valdis Vanadziņš, General Manager at Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel shared his experience working in hospitality industry and managing to preserve jobs and sustain businesses. The healthcare work group discussed an online event on personal protective equipment, webinar with healthcare professionals, the next steps related to the Oncology data project as well as AmCham’s participation in the work groups of the Ministry of Health.

25 members joined the webinar with Janis Klovins, Director of Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Centre and Professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Latvia to find out more on the coronavirus research progress and potential outcomes. The webinar was moderated by Kaspars Losans, Medical Director of Roche Latvija.
