On October 10, precision medicine stakeholders convened at the International Precision Medicine Networking Forum (PMNET) to discuss how to drive the development of precision medicine in Latvia. During the session, the new AmCham position paper on the Development of Precision Medicine in Latvia was presented. 

This week Healthcare work group members convened to discuss releasing of a position paper on Precision Medicine during the PMNET, Value-based procurement sub-group meeting with BKUS representative and the progress of the Secondary data law. Also, two new Co-Chairs of a Digital healthcare sub-group Ieva Palma and Agnese Jonate presented their vision and group directions.

On October 8, AmCham in cooperation with the RTU Riga Business School held an event focused on AI as a tool for economic growth and business innovation. The program included the introduction of RBS AI Studio, the launch of AmCham position on AI opportunities, and was followed by a panel discussion about the potential AI solutions holds for business, public, and academic sectors.
